All things girly

So, I haven't posted any pictures lately because my phone won't take pictures any more. *Sigh!* I have, however, figured out how to use the web cam to take pics. So, here are some of my recent projects. First is a dress I finished today.
I found a tutorial at http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=170402.0 for turning a men's shirt into a girl's dress. Adorable, if I do say so myself! Next, I've been making a ton of hair bows. Katie got several, and I even sold 2 sets online!!! Here are just some of them:

dinosaur baby blanket

I made my first blanket with the sewing machine for my friend, Melanie's baby boy. Aaron picked the fabric. Hopefully little Dallin will come soon and enjoy it!

a variety of cards

Here are some cards that I've made recently:
a valentine for Aaron,a birthday card for Erin, a get-well card for Aunt Missy, a birthday card for James, and a baby shower card for my friend, Melanie.

a happy winter gift

I started cross stitching again. I made this for Megan, but I didn't get it done in time for Christmas, so it became a winter present.

I love making bows!

When I got my sewing machine for Christmas, I wanted to do an easy project. I found a pattern online for fabric flowers that I used to make hair bows. So far, I've made a multi-color bow for a friend's baby shower. I've also made 2 multi-color, 1 gray felt, and 1 purple felt for Katie. This past weekend I changed the pattern a bit and made a big, poofy black felt bow for me. I wore it to school today and was told I looked stunning. :)
